What DuitNow is
DuitNow is a Malaysian real-time transfer service that lets you send money using an ID such as a mobile number, or by scanning a DuitNow QR code. It works from many bank and e-wallet apps.
Seeing DuitNow on this guide page does not mean ONG777 accepts it; carefully check the cashier for the methods offered to your personal account.

Paying with a DuitNow QR
If the cashier offers a DuitNow QR, the flow generally looks like this.
- Choose DuitNow in the cashier and enter the amount in MYR.
- Open your banking or e-wallet app and select the scan option.
- Scan the QR code shown on screen.
- Carefully check the recipient name and amount before approving.
- Return to the site and confirm the deposit appears in history.

Checks before you approve
A DuitNow payment is hard to reverse once approved, so take a moment over the confirmation screen.
- The recipient name matches what the cashier told you to expect
- The amount is exactly what you entered on the site
- Any reference the cashier asked for is included
- The QR code came from the cashier page, not from a chat message

How do I pay ONG777 with a DuitNow ID transfer?
Some cashiers show a DuitNow ID, such as a mobile number or business registration number, instead of a QR. You then enter the ID in your banking app's DuitNow transfer option and type the amount yourself, which adds two chances for error, so slow down.
- Copy the DuitNow ID and any reference from the cashier page of your signed-in account.
- In your banking app, choose DuitNow transfer and select the matching ID type.
- Paste the ID and wait for the app to display the recipient name.
- Compare that name with what the cashier says to expect, and cancel if it differs.
- Enter the exact amount and reference, approve, and save the receipt.
- Upload the receipt in the cashier if asked, then check transaction history.

DuitNow limits and charges
Your bank sets its own daily limit for DuitNow transfers, and you have the option to often view or adjust it in the app. If a payment is refused, check that limit before assuming the site is at fault.
Banks also set their own charges for DuitNow transfers, so check your bank's fee information, and look at the cashier for any operator fee before you go ahead and approve.
Because DuitNow moves money quickly, there is little time to change your mind. Decide the amount before opening your banking app, and do not raise it in the moment.

Worked example
Say you enter RM50 in the cashier and a QR appears. Your bank app shows a recipient name you do not recognise. Stop there: cancel the payment and contact the support team to confirm the expected name before trying again.

If something goes wrong
Keep the transaction reference from your bank app. If the deposit does not show, the payment help page explains how to match the reference with your personal account history.
When you contact the support team, include the amount, the time you approved it, the recipient name your app displayed and a screenshot of the receipt. Do not scan a replacement QR sent by chat while the first payment is still being traced.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is a DuitNow QR the same every time?
Not necessarily. Many cashiers generate a fresh code per payment, so scan the one shown for your current deposit rather than a saved image.
Can DuitNow be used for withdrawals?
Only if the cashier lists it as a withdrawal option. Deposit and withdrawal methods are often different.
Someone sent me a DuitNow QR to top up my account. Is that fine?
No. Only use a QR generated in the official cashier. Codes sent by individuals can direct money to anyone.
Does ONG777 accept DuitNow for withdrawals?
Only if the withdrawal tab of your cashier lists it. Many cashiers pay withdrawals to a bank account instead, so check before relying on DuitNow in both directions.
What if I sent a DuitNow payment to the wrong recipient?
Contact your bank straight away with the transaction reference. DuitNow payments are difficult to reverse and recovery depends on the receiving bank, so speed matters. Tell support too if the payment was meant for your personal account.
