How a sports bet works
A sports bet is an agreement on the outcome of an event at a stated price. You choose a market, enter a stake and confirm the slip; the return depends on the odds accepted at that moment, not the odds you saw earlier.
Once a bet is confirmed it is normally fixed. Take time to read the slip before you go ahead and tap confirm, because a mistyped stake or a wrong selection is usually treated as a valid bet under the applicable rules of most sportsbooks.

Common bet types
Most sportsbooks group their markets into a handful of familiar types. The names vary slightly, so open the market rules if a label is unclear.
| Bet type | What you are predicting |
|---|---|
| Match result (1X2) | Home win, draw or away win at the end of normal time |
| Asian handicap | A result after a goal or point adjustment is applied to one side |
| Over/under (totals) | Whether the combined score finishes above or below a line |
| Both teams to score | Whether each side scores at least once |
| Outright | The winner of a league, tournament or season |

Accumulators and multiples
An accumulator links two or more selections into one bet. The odds multiply, which raises the potential return, but every leg must win for the bet to pay. One losing selection and the whole stake is lost.
As a worked example, three selections at 1.80 each combine to roughly 5.83. A RM10 stake would return about RM58.30 if all three win, and nothing if any one of them loses.

Cash-out and early settlement
Some sportsbooks offer a cash-out figure that lets you settle a bet before the event ends. The amount reflects the current odds and usually includes a margin, so it is often lower than the fair value of your position.
Cash-out may be suspended during key moments such as a penalty or a video review, and it is not offered on every market. If ONG777 shows a cash-out button, treat it as an optional feature that may not always be available.

How do I place a sports bet at ONG777?
Bet slips look slightly different from one sportsbook to another, but the order of steps is almost always the same. Working through it slowly the first few times is the easiest way to avoid a stake you did not intend.
- Sign in on the official domain and open the sportsbook from the main menu.
- Choose the sport, then the league or competition, then the match you want.
- Tap a price to add that selection to the bet slip; the slip shows the market and the odds.
- Type your stake in ringgit and read through the potential return the slip calculates for you.
- Carefully check the odds-change setting, which decides whether the slip accepts a moved price automatically.
- Confirm the bet and wait for the acceptance message before closing the slip.
- Open your bet history or open-bets list to see the bet reference and the accepted odds.

How bets are settled and paid
Most pre-match football bets settle on the result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs only count where the market says so, as one practical example "to qualify" or "to lift the trophy". Basketball and some other sports usually include overtime, which is why the market rules matter more than the sport you are used to.
Asian handicaps can use quarter lines such as -0.25 or +0.75. These split your stake across the two nearest half and whole lines, so a result can return a half win or a half loss. As one practical example, RM20 on a team at -0.25 that draws loses RM10 on the -0.5 half and returns the RM10 stake on the 0 half.
Winning bets are normally credited to your balance once the result is confirmed by the sportsbook. If a result looks wrong, note the bet reference and ask support which data source and rule were used before placing further bets.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
What happens to my bet if a match is postponed?
Most sportsbooks void bets on matches that do not start within a stated window, returning the stake. The exact window and any exceptions are set out in the betting rules for that sport.
Is a draw-no-bet market the same as a handicap of zero?
In effect, yes. Both return your stake if the match is drawn and pay out only if your chosen side wins.
Can I edit a bet after it is confirmed?
Generally no. A confirmed bet stands as accepted, so any change has to be made before you go ahead and submit the slip.
Where can I see my open bets on ONG777?
Look for the bet history, my bets or open bets area of the sportsbook while signed in. Each entry should show the selection, the accepted odds, the stake and a reference you are able to quote to support.
Why was my stake rejected or reduced?
Every market has a maximum stake, and it can be lower for niche leagues or in-play markets. If the slip offers a smaller stake, you are able to accept it or cancel the bet; nothing is placed until you confirm.
